1. My secret Scent
From a small absolutely amazing perfume house in Paris – when people ask, I never tell the name of the company – it’s my little secret.
2. Iphone 4
My true companion, I can’t live without the music, the mails and the close contact with friends, family and colleagues.
3. Green Tea
Its my daily obsession – I switched from coffee years ago, and will never go back.
4. Morning runs
It clears my mind, sets the daily to do’s and keeps me fit.
5. Love from my family
They are the engine in everything I do.
6. Non-fashion friends
Keep the perspective in balance.
7. New tattoos
Just started 2nd part – now we go all in.

I can’t work properly – when my office is not tidy.
IM: What do you listen to at the moment?
MG: City and Colour, Tallest Man on Earth – I listen to music all the time, on the bike, in the car, on the plane, in the office.
IM: Who’s your favorite artist?
MG: There are so many – and it keeps changing all the time, this time a year its Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra – making sure that the Christmas spirit is building up.
IM: What are you working on right now?
MG: Developing the creative side of our global wholesale business.
IM: What are you dreaming of?
MG: To be able to take a month out of the calendar, and invite my little family to a warm and isolated island, just to hang out and relax.
IM: What are some things you never travel without?
MG: Music, and my MacBook Pro.
IM: Doing any reading lately? If so, what?
MG: Christmas tales, for my daughter – and Acne Paper 11, of course – just came out last Friday.
IM: Favorite food?
MG: My homemade pizzas.
IM: Do you have any nicknames?
MG: Nothing, apart from my last name; Gjesing.
IM: Favorite designer?
MG: Miuccia Prada and Jonny Johansson.
IM: What’s your hidden talent?
MG: I’m very good at cleaning.
IM: What do you wear the most?
MG: Jeans.
IM: What is your favorite holiday destination?
MG: Paris.

MG: Paris.
IM: Any place you would love to visit?
MG: Tokyo.

MG: I don’t really watch a lot of movies – but I look forward to seeing the new movie La Machette, featuring the all time bad guy; Danny Trejo.

MG: Camel double-breasted Prada coat.
IM: And what are you saving up for at the moment?
MG: Christmas.
IM: What is the best thing about your work?
MG: That it doesn’t feel like work.

MG: My grandfather, who died some years ago.

MG: My wife and daughter.

MG: AW 11 season is coming closer, A new year – new concepts and collections.
IM: Where do you see yourself in ten years?
MG: Working for Acne, just as now – this is where I will be for the rest of my professional life – I have all ready ordered the gold watch.
