“My interest in watches began when I found myself fascinated with the fact that for such a simple function, people created and crafted incredible pieces of art. A watch frames the concept of time. It’s about five years ago, and therefore I still call myself an amateur when considering my collection of only six watches. But I’m just getting started. I don’t pick my watches from a certain niche, they are all different models or brands and some are old, while others are newer. It has had much more to do with spontaneity when I have picked up a watch. Of course, I do have preferences; I have tried focusing primarily on the classic models, which I find online or when traveling. And in regards to brands, I like Rolex a lot. I find it very interesting how they seem to stay strong and current after so many years. So I have a couple of these. It’s very different which one I’m wearing, it depends on my mood and sometimes attire, but most of them suit all occasions. I wish I had more to choose from, even though my friends say I’m only getting worse, so when I get more time on my hands I will start a serious collection.. Maybe I’ll have to get over my obsession with tattoos first though.”
